On March 20, the Honduran Central Government imposed “Red Alert” laws on the Bay Islands that are in fact more severe than Martial Law the country suffered in 2009.
Honduran Central government has decided to apply the same draconian “security” measures through the country including the geographically isolated island department of Bay Islands.
The coronavirus incubation period takes between 2 and 14 days and Roatan has not seen any cases of Covid-19 since the island has isolated itself 14 days ago.
